Taxodium distichum Green Whisper® is a pyramidal selection of bald cypress with fluffy bright green needles, perhaps the brightest green needles of any bald cypress. This gives a soft appearance to a large growing tree. 'Green Whisper' was found and introduced by J. Frank Schmidt Nursery in Boring, Oregon.
